You only have one nose and it's impossible to hide. It's shape, size and angle define the proportions and symmetry of your face. Fortunatly, with our Philadelphia rhinoplasty, you don't have to live with a nose you dislike.
A rhinoplasty at StarkMD Plastic Surgery and Aesthetic Center can lead to life-changing results and a boost in self-esteem. The artistic design and technical skill that is required for performing a successful nose job come with many years of training under the best rhinoplasty surgeons in the world. Dr. Stark works closely with his patients in helping to identify their concern or concerns and to create a natural result, revealing the best version of themselves.

He received advanced training in both primary and revision rhinoplasty from some of the best rhinoplasty surgeons in the world. Rest assured, he will help you achieve your cosmetic or functional goals.
No two noses are created equal. Therefore, corrective surgery may involve changing the shape, narrowing the nostrils, straightening the dorsum, removing a hump or bump, refining the tip, narrowing the base of the nose or correction of the projection and rotation of the nose. Some people have difficulty breathing from a septal deviation or turbinate hypertrophy which may require surgical correction. Whatever your concerns, double board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Stark, is the best equipped to fix them.
Dr. Stark uses his aesthetic acumen and knowledge of facial proportions to create a virtual image of your new nose with Vectra H2 3D imaging. After creating a 3D model of your face, the two of you will use the imaging software to alter the shape, size, rotation and projection of your nose to see what it will look like on your face.
This valuable tool along with his consummate surgical skill are the basis of Dr. Stark's reputation for accurately delivering the expected result. His excellent bedside manner will make you feel at ease as he creates an approach and plan that is safest for you and that will lead to the outcome that you desire.
There are two rhinoplasty techniques: open or closed. In a closed rhinoplasty Dr. Stark is able to manipulate the bone and cartilage of the nose through small incisions inside the nostrils. While this approach is minimally invasive and may work for some patients, an open rhinoplasty is the more commonly performed procedure at StarkMD Plastic Surgery and Aesthetic Center. Through an open technique, Dr. Stark is able to more accurately and precisely modify the structure of the nose to achieve the best and most stable result.
Immediately following your surgery, Dr. Stark will splint your nose internally and externally to help set the adjustments he's made. If he shifted the placement of the bones, there may be circles around your eyes. Swelling can also make breathing through the nose more difficult for a brief period. Your splints will be removed along with any sutures that were placed one week after surgery.
At this point the most severe swelling and bruising should be fading or already gone. Swelling after rhinoplasty usually completely resolves after about three months, but it can persist for up to a year in some cases. The nasal tip may be particularly prone to extended swelling - it is important to have patience during this period.
Dr. Stark and his staff at StarkMD Plastic Surgery and Aesthetic Center will ensure you feel comfortable the minute you arrive. His friendly staff, comfortable exam rooms and warm bedside manner will immediately put you at ease.
We understand surgery can be emotionally difficult and ultimately the key to a successful surgery is alignment of your goals with those of your doctor.
